Who Shot Sports, a survey of Sports Photography from 1843 to the present, opens at the Brooklyn Museum this month. With over 200 superb images, the show includes Zimmerman’s photo of Ethiopian Abebe Bikila winning the 1960 Rome Marathon–barefoot (below).
